Karakuchi (pronounced ka-rah-koo-chee), a word adopted from Japanese sake, is used to explain the dry taste of Asahi Super Dry. It’s a super refreshing, yet super dry beer that quenches not only your thirst, but your curiosity to discover more; much like Japan itself. We encourage you to taste it, to understand it.

As you explore your surroundings via the augmented reality (AR) Discover Karakuchi app, you will encounter Asahi Super Dry pint glasses available for the taking. Follow the trail, swipe to capture the pint glass, and add an Asahi Super Dry to your wallet.

Once in your wallet, you are eligible to redeem the pint in the participating venue, or you can gift it to a friend and share the Asahi Super Dry experience.

On your journey you may notice red and black Kanji symbols (辛口). Kanji (pronounced kan-jee) is a style of Japanese writing. The Kanji symbol you are looking for means Karakuchi (辛口). Capture the Kanji for your chance to win prizes, including one VIP trip to Tokyo, to experience the best food, music and culture that progressive Japan has to offer.
